Start with coverage

The timeline decides what the day needs.

Some weddings need a focused piece of the day. Others need morning prep, multiple locations, family photographs, ceremony, portraits, speeches, reception and the late-night pieces that make the story feel complete.

These are current starting rates for photography and optional video coverage. Travel, unusually complex schedules, custom delivery needs and applicable tax are confirmed before booking.

Coverage rates

Photography, second photographer and video options.

One photographer is right for many weddings. Two photographers help when important things are happening in different places at the same time, or when guest count, family photographs and reception coverage need more breathing room.

Coverage One photographer Two photographers Video coverage
4 hours$1,800$2,200$2,100
6 hours$2,550$3,250$3,000
8 hours$3,300$4,200$3,750
10 hours$4,000$5,100$4,400
12 hours$4,650$6,000$5,200

Choosing hours

Enough room, without paying for coverage you do not need.

The right amount of time depends on how much of the day you want remembered, how many people need to be photographed, how much travel exists between locations, and whether the reception matters as much as the ceremony.

4 hours

Smaller days

Good for a shorter ceremony, family photographs, couple portraits and a simple part of the reception or prep.

6 hours

More shape

Better when prep, ceremony, family, portraits and a little reception coverage all need to be included.

8 hours

Fuller story

A strong fit for most full wedding days where the gallery should hold the beginning, ceremony and party.

10 to 12 hours

Full day

Useful for multiple locations, large families, long receptions, travel between venues or late-night moments.

Second photographer

Two places at once

Helpful for simultaneous prep, ceremony angles, cocktail hour, reception details and large family lists.

Video crew

Event coverage

Because James also works as a filmmaker, a video crew can be brought in when the day needs motion coverage too.

Next step

Send the date, place and rough shape of the day.

You do not need to know the exact coverage yet. Send what you know, what matters most, and whether photography, video or both are on the table.
